At our college, we believe in all round personality development of our students. Since we are a women’s college, we strive to empower our girls by giving them an environment where they grow not just academically but also turn out to be responsible citizens, with this aim in mind we have registered for one unit of NSS where about 100 volunteers actively participate in activities that create a society connect.
Our volunteers take care of the Government school near the college, the deaf and dumb school in the colony and the nearby slums. Environmental consciousness is consciously inculcated by organising tree plantation for Harita Haram program, Eco-friendly Ganesha , Swachh Bharat programs etc.
Being responsible citizen is the prime motive of the programs of our college.
During demonetization our volunteers were felicitated by the bank employees in the locality to show our appreciation of their efforts. International Yoga Day is also celebrated with huge participation from our volunteers.
Most of our programs generate a lot of interest amongst our volunteers who participate in large numbers and get appreciation for the efficacy with which they execute their work.
